The official line is: "Shane is responsible for charting the long-term artistic and ministry goals that will guide the company, project selection and development, and directorial duties in all major productions." However, those in the know understand that his days are spent with equal measures of daydreaming, YouTubing and trying to understand the budgets he habitually exceeds. Shane received a BFA in Acting from Southern Methodist University, which prepared him spectacularly for his first career as a waiter. In all honesty, his best ideas come from his brilliant wife, Jana. She'd take over his job if he didn't keep her locked away and busy homeschooling their four kids, Anjel, Dakota, Caleb, and Micah.

Cassie coordinates and oversees the details of each production as well as the post production process-the kind of nitty-gritty stuff that makes most people crazy, but she loves it. Cassie volunteered with Shane and his crew on the first City on a Hill production, "God is God," and signed on for good. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Television Production and Spanish from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky. She is crazy about her job and thrilled to be able to serve the Lord within this ministry. Above all other blessings, her greatest and most favorite is being married to her incredible (and oh so patient) husband, photographer Tyler Michael Pelan.

Kevin's door plaque proclaims he's Director of Photography and Senior Editor, but that's only because they couldn't find one that said Director of Office Sarcasm. Kevin makes sure that the company's artistic and ministry vision is brought to life through the photography and post-production process. Trained primarily in the school of experience, Kevin also received instruction at the International Film and Video Workshop in Rockport, Maine. Kevin has spent 20 years in media production, and shot internationally in over 30 countries, which means he's dined on animals most people just admire at the zoo. Kevin's wife, Marcy, is a published author and his personal trainer. They have one daughter, Meghan, who has the heart and soul of a gentle warrior, and share their home with Peanut the Nutty Kitty, and Liberty the Single Brain-celled Yellow Lab.

Martha has no idea how she got here. She has a vague memory from several years ago, when City wasn't even on the horizon much less a Hill, of a conversation with Shane that went something like this:
Shane: "Hey, wanna be production manager on a video?"
Martha: "Sure. What does that mean?"
"Don't know but this book says I need one."
"Okay, sounds like fun."This strange conversation led to 14 hours straight running around in a huge damp cave shooting one of the worst videos ever, but somehow that didn't dampen their enthusiasm for such insane antics.
Since that time Martha has served on various City projects in some volunteer capacity from writer to asst. director to make-up to general schlepper. She is now thrilled to have been brought on full-time as ministry support production coordinator. Helping Christian ministries get the word out about what they are doing is a dream job come true for her.
Martha has been mostly happily married for 17 years to Rob, the only man who could put up with her for a lifetime, and they have three fabulous kiddos – Shannon (14), Benjamin (12) and Aileen (10). -
All my life I have had a love affair with all things audio. Some people; however, do not consider this a real job. On the other hand, I feel perfectly suited for playing with knobs and buttons all day long. Recently I went back to school to learn the fine art of audio post production. I love to make pretty pictures go BOOM! Can you believe there is actually a degree for this stuff? I am very excited about being able to share Christ with people by adding another dimension to the awesome work already being done by City On A Hill.

Although juggling these responsibilities is quite often very difficult and time consuming, Tony feels very blessed to have the opportunity to work with City and knows the Lord has blessed him with his business and this opportunity to help make a difference for Him and His Kingdom. Tony received an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from the University of Louisville. When he's not at work, Tony spends his time with his wonderful wife Patty and their three children, Brianna, Logan and Luke.

Molly's official title is, "Director of Marketing" but she thinks it should be "Fun Supervisor." She is convinced that the world would be a much better place if people laugh a little more and have some fun! Thankfully, she gets to oversee sales and marketing, and is particularly passionate about creative ministry and encouraging people to see ministry in a whole new way. She has worked in several fields of communication, such as musical theater, advertising, marketing and media buying, which believe it or not all come in handy here at CHP! She comes to us from the mountains of NC and she is a proud graduate of Milligan College and earned her Masters in Communication and Leadership from Gonzaga University. Molly is thrilled and blessed to be married to Zach and to be Gracie's mommy.

Becky Edmondson is our new Director of Development here at City on a Hill Productions! She comes to us with a wealth of experience from A Woman's Choice Resource Center and Necole's Place. She served as the Executive Director of A Woman's Choice Resource Center from 1989 - 2008. During that time, she helped to oversee the development of the center from a suburban crisis pregnancy counseling center to a multifaceted ministry providing abortion alternatives and life support for women and children in Louisville's urban neighborhoods. She is thrilled to begin a new chapter of serving the Lord at CHP. She is married to Jim and they have two children, Todd who is married to Lisa, and Katie who is married to Scott Magers. Becky is blessed to be a grandmother of three. Becky believes that God's people constantly need to be looking for opportunities to serve Him in new and challenging ways, and her life and work continue to embody that belief.

After hearing about how amazing it was to work here, Heidi is excited to now be the marketing assistant here at City on a Hill. Before coming to City, she spent much time wandering around from place to place. Raised in the Air Force and being constantly faced with the question, "Where are you from?" she has decided to claim Louisville, Kentucky as home. Before living here she resided in Idaho, New Jersey, Minnesota, Germany, Texas, and Illinois. Recently graduating from Boyce College with a degree in theology, she has a desire to see others come to love God and make the Gospel known throughout the world. Heidi loves serving at her church and getting to know her "family" better. During her free time she enjoys watching her shows (LOST, The Office, 30 Rock, etc.). Music is a very important part of her life, whether it is writing new music for old hymns, listening to her favorite bands, or singing. Her wonderful family will be one more in November with the arrival of her niece. She is excited to see what God has in store for her life.

Emily is a 2007 graduate of Bellarmine University where she studied Communication and Sociology. After graduating, she spent a few years working in the corporate world until she realized God was leading her heart down a totally different career path and into the ministry. After much searching, Emily heard about the position at City and wasted no time trying to become a permanent member of the staff. She is now elated to be the full-time Administrative Assistant here where she assists with sales, marketing and development. Also being the voice of City at the other end of the phone, Emily finds joy through out the day speaking with people from around the world whom City has touched through their products. Married to the wonderful and loving Jeremy, they are parents to an aloof blodhound named Babe and two cats named Josie and Bruce. You can usually find them outdoors at one of the local parks or at the Tom Sawyer Dog Run.
